Has anyone dated or is dating their best friend?

I have. We were friends for ages, like really good friends. Some people already thought we were going out, but the people that didn't just told both of us to ask the other one out already haha.. And then he asked me out and we dated for like 2 months almost. :/ Then he broke up with me out of the blue. We're still good friends, which I'm happy about because I know it could have been alot worse like we could have ended with a fight and hated each other forever, but we didn't. Anyways, he knows I still like him and I don't know, maybe someday we'll get back together again.. Anyways, with the whole relationship itself, it was great. Like the best thing ever. x) It's like your best friend and boyfriend in one person. This might be different seeing I'm the girl in this situation and you're a guy in your situation, but it's not too much of a difference I guess. Just be aware that if you did date, you have either 2 things that could happen; it will be the best thing ever and then just end, or it will be the best thing ever and stay like that forever. Sometimes I guess it could be awkward though if you have been friends since you were like 4 years old or something and the other didn't see you as a boyfriend/girlfriend from the beginning, but it usually works out fine.. I'm just making this sound worse and rambling on aren't I? haha :/ Well yeah, it's just good but you have to make sure you are willing to risk loosing the friendship for it. It's usually totally worth it though. :) Goodluckkkk(:
