Why was Dime Bag Darryl named "dime bag" is that his name or like howd he get that name ?

His name was Darrell Abbott, a "dimebag" is slang for a $10 bag of pot. Its strange, he was more notorious as an alcohol drinker than a pot smoker, but the nickname "Dimebag Darrell" stuck more. I guess it was just an upgrade from his previous nickname "Diamond Darrell"... For a band of tough guys like Pantera, having a name like "diamond" probably wasn't too fitting.
