Why does he know all of a sudden?.....?

Im really into this guy, but not concerned that hes not really giving me the attention I want, whatever. So I was telling him how I almost made Varsity, but got sidelined with a concussion. and he goes oh really would you even have made it? and i was like yeah i was shooting really well! and he goes so and so said you shot a 72. I was like well okay howd you know? and he was like idk
