What Bassoon right for me?

( complicated question) So, I really really want a Bassoon right. I never played on a double reed before, I played on trumpet and clarinet and just a little flute. I learned how to play clarinet in 1 week and a half ( extreme practicing). But i want to play bassoon what right for me. should i get maple or plastic what reed type ? stuff like that someone who played bassoon for a lot should answer this question or someone that really good with all instruments
