Is it possible to make a trumpet appear to breath fire?

For my senior night in marching band the band director says we can do something interesting so the first thing that came to my mind was MONKEYS but then I thought that would be a bad idea so i thought we could make my trumpet breath fire. I know it has something to do with an igniter and flash paper but i'm not sure how to do it anyone know how?
